
Ken Lamug
Author-Illustrator
Ken Lamug is an author-illustrator who has created award-winning picture books and graphic novels. He considers himself a professional dabbler and has tried everything from beekeeping, coding, photography, race car driving, filmmaking, chicken herding, and many others. Originally from the Philippines, he now calls Nevada his home.
Lamug’s books span a range of genres and age groups. He has created novelty parodies which include Hurts Like A Mother (parenting alphabet book), A is for Asteroids Z is for Zombies (alphabet bedtime apocalypse), and the spooky The Stumps of Flattop Hill. He also loves creating stories for the younger audience, including the imaginative A Box Story, The Whole Hole Story, and Ghastly Ghosts.
Lamug has won various awards and is most proud of being selected as Nevada’s 2020 National Book Festival Author and (LVCCLD) Library Card Design Winner. Lamug’s latest book is the Mischief and Mayhem graphic series.
